The Sun’s “Better Late Than Never” 40th Anniversary Party

August 22, 2015

January 2014 marked The Sun’s fortieth anniversary, and we’re finally getting around to celebrating that milestone. We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 22, from 6 to 11 PM for a “Better Late Than Never” gathering in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Sy Safransky, the founder and editor of The Sun, will be there along with the magazine’s staff and longtime contributors Poe Ballantine, Krista Bremer, Doug Crandell, Frances Lefkowitz, Alison Luterman, and Sparrow. The festivities will include music, food, readings, and a few surprises. Tickets are $40 per person ($1 for every year) and include admission, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and nonalcoholic beverages. (There will be a cash bar.) We have a limited number of tickets, and they’re only available online. Click here for details.
