The rain still comes
seeming more to clump than fall
This rain is right
I should probably stand in it
I could use a good soak
now that I know he does not love me

But he loves rain He told me
and snow and autumn and thick grass
He loves fat clouds and thin ones
And night Especially he loves night

God if you hear me make me nature
Snip my breasts for mushroom caps
Turn my hair to autumn leaves
Turn my arms to knobby branches
Make me weather seasons fall grass air
Make me something he prefers to me
