 The Gifted Classes
An essay by Frances Lefkowitz
[January 2003]
“I have nothing to say about the politics of poverty, what causes it and what it causes and how to make it go away. I can only tell you what poverty does to a person.”
Each month we post a new selection from The Sun’s archives, which date back to 1974. What’s your favorite piece from The Sun? Tell us, and we may post your suggestion here.
