Camille T. Dungy

Camille T. Dungy is a professor at Colorado State University. Dungy earned a BA from Stanford University and a master’s in fine arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her writing honors include an American Book Award, a Sustainable Arts Foundation grant, two NAACP Image Award nominations, a National Book Critics Circle Award nomination, a 2003 NEA fellowship for poetry and a 2018 NEA fellowship for prose. She is the author of four poetry collections, the most recent being Trophic Cascade. Her first collection of personal essays, Guidebook to Relative Strangers: Journeys into Race, Motherhood, and History, came out last year.
