George Ritzer
George Ritzer has a Ph.D. in sociology and teaches at the University of Maryland, where he is a distinguished professor with numerous academic awards and volumes to his credit. He is the author of The McDonaldization of Society and Enchanting a Disenchanted World. Ritzer’s most recent book is Explorations in the Sociology of Consumption: Fast Food, Credit Cards, and Casinos.
