Sherwood Anderson, author of Winesburg, Ohio, was one of the first American authors to respond to Freud’s teachings and was a precursor of the stream-of-consciousness technique.

Reid Champagne lives with his wife and three children in Lyons Falls, New York, where he is a purchasing agent for a large food processor. He has been writing fiction for three years: “The Man in the Control Booth,” in this issue, is his second published story.

David Citino teaches at Ohio State University in Marion, Ohio, edits Cornfield Review and is poetry editor of The Ohio Journal.

Louis David Salomone lives in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and teaches business administration at Bucks County Community College.
