Gina Easley shared this story about her photo on the March issue’s Contents page:
In the March issue The Sun published my photo of a man sitting in the Empathy Tent at our outdoor market in Eugene, Oregon. I didn’t get his name when I took the photo, but I hoped to find him again so I could give him a copy of the magazine.
A Sun reader inquired about the photo and mentioned that the stuffed giraffe next to the man is a symbol used by the NVC (nonviolent communication) community. That was the clue I needed. I sent the photo to our local NVC chapter, and they contacted the man in the photo, whose name is Mark. He let me know that the magazine he is holding is The Sun!
