In 2019 we collaborated with Orion magazine to pay tribute to frequent contributor Brian Doyle, who died of a brain tumor in 2017. Orion’s poetry editor Aimee Nezhukumatathil read from Doyle’s “Joyas Voladoras” at our event in Portland, Oregon, and we featured the essay as our January 2020 Dog-Eared Page selection.
