Brother Dennis Gibbs, who endured poverty, addiction, homelessness, and incarceration, now serves as a prison chaplain. As part of his ministry, each month he distributes 100 copies of The Sun to incarcerated readers. “Giving and receiving our most authentic selves is worship,” he says. “When I share The Sun behind bars, I share presence, dignity, and the possibility of transformation.”
Thanks to your donations, The Sun distributes nearly a thousand free subscriptions to incarcerated individuals and others who feel they could benefit from the magazine but cannot afford to subscribe.
We’ll mail you a free copy of this month’s issue. Plus you’ll get full online access—including more than 50 years of archives.
