Hayden Saunier’s performance as the voice of a broken-down stove in an Ikea display has been lost to time, but her newest book of poetry, Wheel, can be found in bookstores later this month. She lives in Pennsylvania.

Sybil Smith lives in Vermont on the banks of the Connecticut River. Like Robert Frost, she has a lover’s quarrel with the world.

Angela Voras-Hills is the author of the poetry collection Louder Birds. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she is essentially an indoor/outdoor cat, hunkering down all winter and spending the rest of the year in the sun.

John Vurro lives in New Jersey. When he isn’t wishing that video stores were still around, you can find him sitting on a park bench eating cantaloupe and reading Melville.

Geoffrey Ansel Agrons is a former radiologist. In time he grew interested in photography that favored an emotional response over diagnostic interpretation. He lives in Pennsylvania.

Eric Davidove lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. When he is not teaching yoga or walking other people’s dogs, he explores the city streets with his camera.

W Goodwin is a writer and visual artist who has studied scientific imaging, taught high-school and university-level sciences, and founded a sailing-and-navigation school. They live in Colorado.

Jolene Hanson balances her career in health care with her love of collecting passport stamps. At home in the Pacific Northwest, she enjoys photographing landscapes and hiking with Sam, her Great Pyrenees rescue.

Terry Wild has retired in Lexington, Kentucky, but remains active by making photographs and playing trumpet with the Young at Heart Big Band and Dixieland South.

Linzy Witherspoon developed her photographic eye through the whimsy of Zoobooks and the grandeur of National Geographic. She lives in Maine, where she goes on bird walks and whips up plant-based culinary creations.

Andy Hann left Los Angeles after a thirty-five-year advertising career and set up shop as a photographer in North Carolina. He took the image on this month’s cover in La Verne, California, after a softball game. Ella is a pitcher and outfielder for the Firecrackers.
