Natalie Kusz is the author of the memoir Road Song and the recipient of a Whiting Award, a Bush Foundation Fellowship, and other honors. Her Plan B career would have been hairdressing, and on certain writing days she wonders why she went with Plan A. She lives in Spokane, Washington.
